(Peter Bay is to its west, but that beach does not have public road access.) Cinnamon Bay is less than 20 minutes from Cruz Bay, and the taxis go there regularly. Save. I have found Raid yard gaurd works great for keep the critters at bay (spay along your tent walls inside and out etc) We spent a week camping on assateague island and survived!! One thing that helped was before we went to bed we litteraly "fogged" the tent with bug spray and zip it up.
